Role – Infrastructure Solution Architect

Job Description
The Infrastructure Solution Architect is a seasoned professional role who applies in depth IT knowledge and experience towards gathering and analyzing business application requirements in support With the goal to design strategic target state architecture using defined standards to maximize performance and capacity while driving IT costs down They would be familiar with infrastructure Platform as a Service PaaS providing IT services within the private cloud integrating orchestration and automation to quickly deliver solutions A general knowledge of the financial services industry and how technology supports and enables those services is extremely beneficial
Responsibilities
Supporting businesses as a trusted advisor for all solution tasks
Engage in routine discussions with stakeholders DBA SA Build Business regarding
App Business requirements
Work with senior architects supporting Solution End to End tasks when deemed necessary
Ability to take ALL elements of a solution design and capture in both a narrative and diagram Visio form in such a way that stakeholders can understand
Must grasp the technical aspects of an applications RTO RPO when designing an infrastructure solution
As part of the Solution process guide client in re-platforming applications to new strategic technology platforms and the deployment of new applications
Qualifications
Familiar with Private Cloud platforms PaaS
Understanding how application requirements determine infrastructure type and size including High Availability and Disaster Recovery capabilities
Experience as a Systems Admin or Systems Engineer is preferred Experience in rootcause analysis techniques in a highly complex Data Center environment
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Ability to develop working relationships manage multiple projects with different priorities
Team player with willingness to learn the latest technology while taking initiative to master new tasks quickly
Prior experience as an Infrastructure Design or Solution Architect is ideal but not required
Public Cloud Certifications is a plus
