Yerbey Concrete Construction, LLC in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a qualified estimator to join our team. We are seeking a team player with attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete construction estimating. Excellent verbal, written and personal communication skills are mandatory.
Essential Functions:
- Visit sites and attend pre-bid meetings and prepare detailed estimates
- Estimating a variety of concrete construction projects types, e.g., footings, walls, structural cast in place concrete, renovation work.
- Quantifying and preforming takeoffs for manpower and materials for awarded projects.
- Normal work week is Monday through Friday for a minimum 40 hr. week.
- Skill Requirements:
- Must possess bachelor’s degree in concrete industry management, civil engineering, or related construction field.
- Must have very good computer skills and have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- PlanSwift software knowledge is a plus.
- Advanced blue print reading skill is a must.
- Must be able to pass complete background screening and drug screening.
