The applicant will have the title of Store Manager. The owner of the business will provide orientation for the position, but the employee must have experience with general jewelry store management/supervision, and fine jewelry repairs/sales.

Position Details / Benefits:
- Start Date: Position available immediately.
- Hours: This is a salaried position, with a minimum of 40hrs/week of in-showroom coverage. (Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-6:30pm with a half hour lunch). Must be willing to maintain flexibility to work any shift, holidays, special events, and to address emergency situations.
- Salary: $80k+ annually, dependent on experience and proven success. Increased compensation with increased management responsibilities.

Experience Required:
- Management experience (3 years minimum)
- Fine jewelry/precious mineral sales (3 years minimum)
- Experience identifying and evaluating precious minerals.
- Fine jewelry evaluation and repair experience
- Strong in standard computer software. Some systems we use include…Teamup, Airtable, Slack, Later, Google Docs/Microsoft Word, Google Sheets/Excel, Gmail, Lightspeed POS/CRM for retail, USPS/UPS/FedEx Shipping systems.
- Proficient in e-commerce software (we use Shopify)
Experience Desired:
- Knowledge of vintage/estate fine jewelry including eras and styles
- Retail online e-commerce product sales
- Bilingual is desirable, but not required
Management Responsibilities:
- Correctly Implementing all showroom opening, operating, safety and closing procedures
- Ensure brand development and expansion
- Hire, dismiss, schedule, train, oversee, support and direct a small staff
- Oversee quarterly team member check-ins (evaluations), bi-monthly team meetings, bi-annual retreats, and oversee team member objectives and responsibilities.
- Oversee, manage and develop each department including but not limited to custom design, customizable, repair, OTC buying and online sales
- Understand and oversee team member payroll, medical benefits packages, FSAs, Simple IRA
- Oversee development and implementation of discount sales programs and events
- Using third-party sources to drive Google and social media advertising and marketing, SEO, and other forms of advertising
- Ordering products from vendors
- Oversee showroom cleanliness, merchandising and decorating
- Understand QBO reports and can do analysis and projections
- Maximize financial performance of the showroom
- In time, be responsible for the overall operations of the business
- Be prepared to learn and oversee new responsibilities as they develop
Showroom Responsibilities as Needed:
- Face to face showroom sales with clients, including processing client invoices, payments, receipting for sales, returns and refunds
- Assist with the intake and processing of repairs

- Strong communication (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ultimately we need a strong manager and sales associate who will make it their number one priority to ultimately take over the business operations, as well as someone ready to satisfy client's fine jewelry desires with Baraka Gems' products.
