We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the daily operations of our moving client based in Dallas, TX.
This role requires a leader who can manage staff, streamline processes, and ensure that all moving services are carried out efficiently and professionally. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all operational tasks align with the company’s goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate the hiring, training, and management of staff to ensure efficient job performance and quality service.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.
- Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring that operational costs remain within company guidelines.
- Implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve service issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to assess operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, customer service, and HR to align operations with company objectives.
- Ensure the timely completion of all moving jobs, addressing any operational disruptions or delays.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the moving or logistics industry.
- Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software is a plus.
