Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team in the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have experience in Java development, with extensive expertise in Java 8 or Java 11, microservices architectures, Spring Boot, and real-time data streaming with Kafka. The role requires a depth of knowledge in designing, developing, and maintaining complex financial systems with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of high-volume applications for mission-critical financial systems, ensuring strong reliability, high performance, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Drive the adoption of microservices best practices, providing guidance on system architecture and design to support scalability and maintainability.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies within the Java ecosystem and financial services industry to incorporate into the technology roadmap.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Java development with a proven track record.
- Proficiency in Java 8 or Java 11, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and Kafka.
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, with direct experience being highly preferred.
- Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, design patterns, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle) for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
