Glass+Metal Craft (G+MC) is a top glass fabricator in North America providing custom residential glass products and glass + metal engineered architectural systems. G+MC delivers glass products daily through the Midwest & Mid-Atlantic regions and has delivered custom glass + metal engineered architectural systems nationally for over 25 years.
Glass + Metal Craft needs an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance Team, improve the Preventative Maintenance system, integrate new equipment, and utilize experience to improve the quality and performance of our 80,000 square foot facility.

Description of work:

It requires attention, effort, and energy. Lock-out and tag-out, safe handling of glass products, maintaining our fleet & work area are our first responsibility.
Maintenance Team. The Best around. Responsible for scheduling, training, and leading the Maintenance Team. The expectation is a 24/7 mindset focusing on performance of preventive maintenance, projects, and responsiveness to critical downtime.
Learn the business. Learn the equipment. Improve the Quality and Performance. Expectation is the curiosity & responsibility to be on the floor with the Operations and Maintenance Team identifying and addressing issues. Are the machines set-up to standards and how effective are the PMs? Understand, maintain, and establish consistent processes to produce quality glass products at designed rates.
Improvement. How does GMC improve? What investments are critical to meet Sales goals and market needs? How to integrate into the current manufacturing process?How to develop the current process flow to improve performance or reduce scrap? There is a need and expectation to apply your experience and skills make investments for growth.
Necessary to join the G+MC Team:
Education. What have you learned and how have you used your education to achieve success? There is a need for a 4-year degree, preferably engineering. Disciplined problem solving is essential.
Maintenance Management Experience and Success. Proven record showing leadership skills that have developed a 24/7 team based on honest feedback and disciplined planning, organizational success generating performance for a multi-product business.
