Role: POS Project Coordinator
Location: Dallas, Texas
Contract: 6-12 months (with likely extension)
Office: Onsite 5 days/week
Payrate: $22-25/hr

Job Description
Assist the Retail Technology Department in its efforts to manage deployment of new equipment or software upgrades for retail service stations and convenience stores.
Will be working on POS upgrade and other similar hardware upgrades
Key Skills
- At least 1-2 years of project coordinating experience
- Skilled working in Excel
- POS system experience is a plus
- Experience in the industry is always a plus
- External vendors or customers interaction experience is helpful
Job Summary
Responsibilities :
- Works with technical staff to normalize point of sale system and communications equipment behavior by following scripted instructions and executing them at hundreds of locations (remote dial in, and/or dispatching technicians)
- Manages and updates rollout schedules on a daily basis
- Facilitates collection of site surveys and other site-specific information
- Analyzes of site surveys to determine pre-requisite qualifications
- Creating equipment and service requirement schedules for system upgrades
- Monitors progress using methods and checklists developed by the lead project manager
- Monitors and records progress of Company and distributor project managers and equipment and service deliveries
- Coordinates and communicates upgrade schedules with field operations, site managers and technical resources
- Codes, processes and records vendor invoices and project expenses as approved by lead project manager
- Provides technical administration for onboarding/offboarding of Retail sites to Mobile/Loyalty App
- Communicates with technical helpdesk to receive site ID change requests
- Works with 3rd party vendors to create, change, or terminate site IDs
- Executes scripts to determine existing site connectivity
- Configures web-based systems to enable functionality at hundreds of locations
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), able to keep project schedules and data organized, proficient in Microsoft Suite, ability to multi-task. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills for ability to combine and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources.
