You will lead our energy and retro-commissioning services, driving impactful change across commercial and multifamily properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple energy programs and ensure seamless communication between sales and technical teams.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and risks while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Provide expert guidance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including building automation, pneumatic, and steam distribution systems.
- Perform advanced energy modeling and benchmarking to improve energy performance.
- Mentor and train a dedicated team, fostering expertise and innovation within our business.
As a key leader, you will develop teams in these areas:
- Perform ASHRAE Level I, II, and III Energy Audits to uncover energy-saving opportunities across a range of commercial and multifamily properties.
- Benchmark energy and carbon performance to guide clients in reducing their carbon footprint, while performing diagnostic analyses on building systems to optimize efficiency.
- Deliver sustainability consulting as part of ESG reporting initiatives for non-government clients, helping businesses stay compliant while advancing their environmental goals.
- Develop utility allowance schedules and perform energy modeling using advanced tools like TREAT, eQUEST, and Trane Trace to provide precise, data-driven recommendations.
- Lead initiatives to help clients transition to net-zero, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in their energy journey.
As a leader, you will be responsible for:
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring seamless collaboration between sales, operations, and clients. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing consistent updates, ensuring client satisfaction, and meeting key performance goals.
- Overseeing project scope, budget, and timeline, identifying risks and implementing change management strategies where needed. Your expertise in MEP systems and building automation will be instrumental in identifying energy losses and driving corrective actions.
- Mentoring and training field staff, ensuring they deliver outstanding results while enhancing their own technical and leadership capabilities.

Key Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred. Experience and certifications will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the energy/retro-commissioning consulting field.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Required: Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Certification.
- Required: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Desired: One or more of the following certifications:
- Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA)
- AEE – Certified Building Commissioning Professional
- NEBB - Commissioning Process Professional (CxPP)
- Multifamily Building Analyst
- Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP)
