Project Coordinator - Addison
Delta Dallas is currently assisting an independent purchasing company that focuses on the hospitality industry in its search for a Project Coordinator. Our client has been in business for over 25 years, but remains a small, niche market firm. The Project Coordinator's main responsibility is to ensure that all purchase orders files are up to date, maintained for legal accuracy, and submitted to clients in a timely manner.
This role is 100% onsite in the company's offices in Addison.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with the Project Manager at the start of a project to understand the schedule and any special needs of the client or design team.
- Follow up with vendors consistently to ensure compliance regarding materials and schedule.
- Collect copies of all required approvals on every purchase order and file accordingly; manage any purchase order revisions as necessary.
- Coordinate all freight pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Collect all proofs of delivery and file accordingly.
- Aid all Project Managers in solving vendor issues.
- Support project team with reporting and schedule documentation; update tracking reports weekly.
- Troubleshoot any vendor issues, following up on invoices and statements.
- Collect project-specific documentation for project files and prepare final documentation to turn over to client.
Requirements
- Fluent Spanish - written and verbal (highly preferred)
