Vice President of CRM (Salesforce) Platform
Our client, a leading insurance company in Chicago is seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of CRM (Salesforce) Platform to lead their digital transformation initiatives and drive business growth through innovative CRM strategies.
About Them
They are a prominent player in the insurance industry, leveraging Salesforce technology to enhance customer relationships and streamline operations. With a user base of 10,000 across multiple Salesforce orgs, they utilize Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
The Role
As the VP of CRM (Salesforce) Platform, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of the Salesforce ecosystem. You will lead a team of 15+ in-house professionals and manage external offshore development teams to ensure seamless integration and maximum efficiency of our CRM platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive CRM strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the Salesforce orgs
- Manage a team of 15+ Salesforce professionals and coordinate with offshore development teams
- Oversee the integration of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ
- Drive innovation and identify new opportunities to leverage Salesforce capabilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure CRM initiatives support overall business goals
- Implement best practices for Salesforce governance, data management, and user adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience working with Salesforce platforms
- Proven track record in a director-level or higher position within a Salesforce end-user business
- Extensive knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 15 or more
- Experience coordinating with offshore development teams
- Deep understanding of the insurance industry and its unique CRM needs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (MBA preferred)
