Oil & Gas client in the Dallas area is in search of a PC Support candidate that is sharp and wants to grow with the company. 1-3 years of experience. LOCAL DFW Candidates only
- Installs and maintains desktop level operating system components and PC level application software on all computing platforms used within the company.
- Monitors daily activity of the system as well as network connectivity and performance, reporting any issues to the other members of the department.
- Assists in the development and communications of standards for use, operations, and security of network, personal computers, and data.
- Trains users on software and equipment usage when required.
- Responds to the needs and questions of system users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs.
- Communicates with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware and operations problems.
Must have Qualifications:
- Must have very strong communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and have strong analytical aptitude
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must have an outgoing personality
- 1-2 years of experience in Help Desk support
- Oil & Gas industry experience NOT required
