We are seeking a Nurse Professional Development Specialist (NPDS) to support the growth and professional development of our nursing staff. The NPDS plays a critical role in onboarding, competency management, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation for nursing and healthcare personnel.
- Assess and document staff competency; provide support to address gaps.
- Develop and implement educational initiatives to improve skills and patient care.
- Mentor and support professional role development.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote evidence-based practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with BLS certification.
- Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, including 1 year as a Nurse Educator.
- Clinical experience in OR, PACU, or ICU settings.
