Headwater Environmental, Inc. (Headwater), founded in August 2014, focuses on transactional-based environmental consulting (Phase I/II ESAs, Wetland/Stream/Endangered Species Assessments, Brownfield sites, etc.). Based in Wilmington and Asheville, North Carolina, Headwater guides projects through environmental due diligence processes for property acquisition, development, land conservation, and planning across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Project Manager based out of our Wilmington office. This position currently qualifies for a hybrid telework option with routine office and remote work days. Extensive experience in the field is a must. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing site reconnaissance, expediting project timelines, client coordination, one-on-one business development, overseeing team logistics, and ensuring efficient project delivery. Additional experiences in this role include, but are not limited to, working in rural/remote areas, exposure to the elements, negotiating difficult terrain, and operating off-road vehicles. An example project would be coordinating and performing a wetland delineation on a large acreage tract, preparing reports/mapping sets, and applying for 401/404 permits. Candidate should expect regular bonuses and sales commission.
