We are committed to combining seasoned leadership with industry-leading equipment to offer full CSA services for industrial and commercial clients. Our expertise includes concrete, insulated metal panels, structural steel, drains, doors, infrastructure, heavy site work, underground utilities, and more.
Job Summary:
Steelworx Industrial Group is seeking an experienced CSA/Industrial Foreman with proven expertise in leading crews on Industrial and Food Processing projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, managing a crew and overseeing the installation of IMP, concrete, structural steel, drains, trench drains, and more.
The CSA/Industrial Foreman ensures smooth operations at the construction site, acting as the key point of contact between the crew and supervisors. Responsibilities include coordinating tasks, creating schedules, overseeing site quality, ensuring safety, managing resources, and reporting progress to superiors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct construction and maintenance activities, including installation and repairs.
- Plan daily work schedules and assign tasks to crew members.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate with other trades, contractors, and project stakeholders to meet project requirements.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, promoting skill development and safety awareness.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site.
- Prepare and submit reports on project status, work progress, and safety incidents.
Education & Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a foreman or in a supervisory role in the civil utilities field.
- Strong knowledge of utility construction methods, safety practices, and equipment operation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Proficiency with construction tools and machinery.
- Ability to manage in-field crews consisting of 2-10 people.
- Ability to oversee the installation of IMP, concrete, structural steel, drains, trench drains, etc.
- OSHA 10 is required or must be willing to obtain upon hire.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.

- Ability to pass a drug test.
