Successful candidate will have 5+ years of law firm experience with great attention to detail and organizational skills. This position is full time, with a collaborative team, generous pay and benefits.
Duties, including but not limited to:
- Excellent typing, proofreading, and editing of legal documents for grammatical, typographical or spelling errors, and completeness prior to distribution or filing
- eFiling in state and federal courts
- Table of Content and Table of Authority preparation
- Preparing legal documents such as standard pleadings, discovery, correspondence, memoranda and other documents
- Maintain electronic calendars for assigned attorneys with close attention to deadlines
- Coordinate and make necessary arrangements for meetings (i.e., depositions, mediations, interviews, and vendor and facility reservations)
- Review discovery requests and responses, prepare response shells as needed, review client documents for production
- Trial preparation
- Organize and maintain case files and other filings – both hardcopy and electronic
- Submit expense reimbursements on behalf of assigned attorneys
- Attorney timekeeping and calendaring deadlines
