Position Summary:
The Director, Compensation and Performance Management will be responsible for developing and managing T-ROC’s compensation structures across multiple programs; ensuring T-ROC’s compensation strategy is competitive, compliant, and recognized by employees for its value. The DCPM also manages and coordinates organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance management programs are developed and managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing T-ROC strategic imperatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design and management of all phases of T-ROC’s compensation structure and job evaluation process to determine appropriate job classification and pay scale by position.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of the performance review process to achieve business goals and identify an internal bench of top talent.
- Manage the annual salary review process, including budgeting, modeling, and analysis, to determine equitable and competitive salary increases.
- Provide guidance during the development of program incentive and commission plans.
- Ensure all compensation structures and incentive programs support the organizational philosophy and strategic initiatives of the company.
- Implement the Corporate Bonus Program.
- Identify trends and implement new practices to engage and motivate employees.
- Provide management with tools and information needed to support the compensation, performance review, and succession planning strategies for T-ROC.
- Manage a library of company approved job descriptions.
- Provide guidance to businesses on building job descriptions and the approval process.
- Ensure compliance with FLSA and other state and federal compensation-related regulations.
- Assist and monitor the creation of new positions to ensure harmony with established compensation plans and compliance with approved budgets.
- Establish, optimize and support all processes and workflows, where needed, to support consistent understanding and execution throughout the organization.
What it Takes to ROC This Role:
- 7+ years of broad HR experience; including the strategic design and implementation of compensation structures, job evaluation tools and performance management programs.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment law requirements.
- A high level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive employee information.
- Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization, including internal and cross-departmental teams, consistently displaying a high level of professionalism.
