Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator to join our millwork team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machinery, particularly in a millwork or cabinetry environment. Your role will involve programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts for custom cabinetry and millwork projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce custom cabinetry and millwork components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs to ensure accurate production.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project timelines and quality expectations are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Continuously improve processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator, preferably in a millwork or cabinetry setting.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads and project requirements.
