Summary: Our Insurance and Risk Management firm was founded in 1946. Since then, we've been providing sound Insurance and Risk Management advice to clients. We focus on Risk Management as a way to establish credibility as Insurance Advisors. We are currently looking for a Commercial Account Assistant to add to our team.
Primary Role: Partner with Account Executives and Account Manager, by providing mostly "back office" technical processing support. Provide accurate and timely service and implement agreed-upon strategies to create and maintain an optimal insurance program for clients. This role will work with 2 Account Executives and 1 Account Manager, in order to effectively provide processing support on various Commercial accounts.
Duties:
- Oversee the accurate and timely issuance of certificates of insurance
- Process Auto ID Cards, renewal invoices, audits, endorsements, and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
- Assist in preparing physical copies of proposals for various meetings
- Prepare premium finance agreements as assigned
- Create concise, written correspondence as assigned
- Have the organizational and technical skills to maintain a high-volume workload requiring attention to detail and meet or exceed significant timelines
- Routinely communicate with account team members any potential change, problem or concern expressed by client and/or underwriter
- Develop and maintain relationships based on honesty, integrity and trust
- Conduct business with a positive demeanor, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to service excellence
- Intellectual curiosity a major plus
Skill Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sense of urgency
- Satisfactory computer knowledge and aptitude.
- Proficient Microsoft Office- Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experienced multi-tasking in fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate basic insurance knowledge
- Any EPIC Agency Management System experience will be highly favored.
Licensing, Education and Experience Requirements:
- State of Texas Insurance License preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. College Degree, preferred.
- Minimum two years' insurance experience, and 1 year agency and/or brokerage experience supporting Commercial Property & Casualty lines of coverage in an Assistant or Processor capacity

We are flexible employers! Our office generally works on a 3-day per week, in office, 2-day per week remote, hybrid schedule. We work 37.5 hours per week, with 10 paid holidays per year and 18 days of paid time off annually (with a tenure schedule for PTO in place). We offer a full compensation benefits package, including LTD & STD, 401k match, life insurance, health insurance, vision, and dental insurance.
Base salary of $50,000 to $65,000, D.O.E.
