The Corporate Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing engineering projects within our manufacturing facilities. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, project management experience, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including operations, quality assurance, and supply chain.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical support and guidance for engineering design and process improvements.
- Analyze project requirements and develop technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster effective communication among project teams and departments.
- Present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as necessary.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements.
- Implement best practices in project execution and engineering processes.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project engineering or management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
