Senior Treasury Associate, Liquidity Risk Management

The Senior Treasury Associate, provides subject matter expertise in one or more of the following processes: Liquidity Risk Management, Asset-Liability Management, Interest Rate Risk, Investment Portfolio Management, Cash-Management, Debt Capital Markets, Capital Allocation, Capital Markets Theory, Capital Planning and Recovery & Resolution. S/he implements complex solutions to balance sheet management, investment portfolio management, asset liability management or capital management department priorities. The incumbent also participates in complex analysis and projects.
The San US Liquidity Risk Management team is responsible for the monitoring, oversight, and risk management of liquidity resources across Santander's combined US operations. Responsibilities will include limit and Key Risk Indicator monitoring, regulatory reporting, Liquidity Stress testing and internal governance and reporting. This position will be responsible for managing 1-3 people.
Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:- Analyze, report and mitigate a component of (liquidity risk, market risk, interest-rate risk, Capital Management Processes).
- Coach junior level team members to enhance leadership skills and subject matter expertise.
- Conduct (financial, variance, profitability, forecasting, liquidity, capital, governance, business line) analysis to improve balance-sheet and capital efficiency and adherence to established risk limits.
- Execute against established policies and procedures (including risk limits, reporting requirements, stress testing requirements, etc.) and contribute to a strong internal control environment in the Treasury functions.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience: 9+ years; Banking/Financial Services Industry or related field

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
Salary: $145,800 - $210,000/year
