With everything moving forwards efficiently, the business has identified a need to increase the number of Project Managers across the North American market.
Joining a dynamic framework across the organization’s own portfolio, this is a compelling senior position for an aspiring Construction Project Manager (EV Charging Installations) who wants to specialize in perhaps the most exciting electrical engineering sector; EV Charging! Working alongside electrical engineering experts, there is wider inclusion of assisting Solar and BESS packages; all integrated on the same assets and tailored towards the business’s EV provision – a lot of new tech being installed!
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS/BArch) or 5 years of construction experience with demonstrable Project Management delivery
- Minimum 3 years in commercial construction project management
- US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship needed
- PE license or PMP certification preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Efficient, reliable, and courteous service delivery
- Advanced financial knowledge and analysis
- Proficient in complex document interpretation and problem-solving
- Knowledge of MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction processes
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project execution, managing quality, cost, and budget
- Spend 20% of time on-site for compliance and performance management
- Manage medium to small-scale projects (150kW Fast Chargers and 22kW DC) EV Charging Stations from start to finish
- Handle all aspects of EV infrastructure projects, including safety, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
- Define project requirements and prepare scopes of work, budgets, and schedules
- Conduct RFPs and bids & tenders processes
- Implement communication plans and manage project documentation
- Supervise site activities and ensure contractual compliance
- Make informed decisions, review contractor payments, and validate invoices
- Prepare status reports and manage project completion and handover
- Calculate intermediate figures and set project deadlines
