The Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating marketing and social media efforts with a high level of initiative and a strong eye for design. The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including graphic design, communications, branding, digital marketing, and social media. This individual will be driven, self-starting, and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively. This person is not only an efficient plan executor but an effective plan maker.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and produce print and digital marketing materials and proposals.
Have experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including graphic design, communications, branding, digital marketing, and social media.
Work in conjunction with company leadership to execute overall marketing plans and strategy.
Analyze RFQ/RFP’s and initiate go/no-go discussions.
Regularly contribute ideas on how to improve the firm’s marketing and business development process and initiatives.
Research opportunities for Design Award Submittals, propose recommendations, prepare, and submit Award Submittals.
Develop an advertising strategy and process; implement and drive forward.
Ensure consistent brand image internally and externally, including managing brand assets such as logos, letterhead, and company swag, and overseeing the production and installation of imagery throughout the office, conference rooms, and front office.
Coordinate project photography and develop strategies for the marketing of in-progress and completed projects.
Website maintenance in coordination with outsourced company.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphics/marketing, in the Architecture, Construction, and/or Engineering industries.
Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign; Photoshop) and MS Office required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of design sensibility.
Experience in crafting promotional materials, reports, presentations, and business communications. Candidate should take a proactive approach to marketing efforts, providing thought leadership and recognizing competitive advantage opportunities for the company.
The ability to maintain and foster positive team and coworker relationships.
Experience working directly with senior staff on business-critical projects with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple proposals, projects, and deadlines in a high-energy environment.
Ability to use analytical and problem-solving techniques.
