Position: Inside Sales Engineer

The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for lead generation via online tools, quotes and assisting the customer in delivering solutions that meet specifications.
Required:
• 4-year Engineering degree required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years inside sales experience required, preferably in a manufacturing industry
• Demonstrated, excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to meet deadlines
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a high paced sales environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Review customer’s inquiry for application requirements. Ability to analyze & interpret technical documents and product specifications.
• Send RFQ received from outside sales rep to estimator to generate a proposal. Pass on technical offer to outside sales rep. Support sales rep with technically convincing product documentation such as cut sheets.
• Provide customer assistance via phone or e-mail. Ability to effectively present information in a clear and organized manner, respond professionally and accurately to questions from customers.
• Manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-growing company. Other duties as may be required. Update CRM and run sales reports. Review bid checklist prior to bid.
