Currently, StaffBright has a great Lead Project Engineer opportunity for a client located in Sterling Heights, MI. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of controls-related engineering experience and be able to use CAD programs.
This role is contract-to-hire and involves frequent travel to Tennessee (75-90%).
Job Responsibilities:
- Engineer and lead a team of engineers during the hardware and software design phases of assigned projects
- Develop Human-Machine Interface (HMI) screens and oversee the creation of system manuals
- Lead the system commissioning process to ensure successful project implementation
- Specialize in managing and delivering specific Ford project requirements
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with the project team to ensure on-time completion
- Provide hands-on problem-solving and technical design support using AutoCAD
- Ensure the successful integration of hardware and software systems across all project phases
