Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our Contract Surety team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting contract surety bonds, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, risk assessment, and the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and underwrite contract surety bond applications.
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess risk.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and agents.
- Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of surety bonds.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract surety underwriting.
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
