Title: Infrastructure Project Manager
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Onsite in Sunnyvale, CA
Responsibilities:
- Plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery.
- Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like.
- Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements,
- Develops detailed project plans and ensure that all implementation processes are completed. These can include resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, ensuring testing occurs and is documented, Monitoring other documentation creation as needed, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.
Qualifications:
- Must have PMP certification
- Need to have experience in IT infrastructure (updating firewalls, installing security software, etc., both software and hardware infrastructure, storage, servers)
- Previous experience with Waterfall Methodologies
- Experience with implementation of any of the following: Network equipment upgrades, Operating systems upgrades, Network layer security systems (firewall, network layer control), User management, (Password, login management tools), End-user security software (Antivirus, EDR software, etc...), Email security, Active CISSP certification desirable, Some scripting experience is highly desirable.
