Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable IT Business Analyst to join our property management client's team. This role is critical for leveraging business software to enhance organizational processes and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess both technical and functional expertise in systems like Salesforce, Nexus Payables, SharePoint, Versa Pay, and various reporting development software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary technical resource within the Business Systems group, ensuring effective support and maintenance of business software.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop and enhance systems that improve business processes.
- Address inquiries from users and support staff regarding software functionality and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop detailed technical specifications for software enhancements and coordinate security maintenance.
- Assist in the technical and functional implementation of new software packages.
- Provide ongoing support to the user community, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance for custom application changes developed by IT.
- Create and maintain essential documentation, including technical and functional application guides, QA test scripts, training materials, and project management files.
- Coordinate rollout of product updates and enhancements and interface with software vendors to resolve end-user issues.
- Design, test, and deliver custom business reports using enterprise report writing software.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- A minimum of six to seven years of relevant IT experience, particularly in a business analyst role.
- Demonstrated experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and financial systems such as Nexus Payables.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, and similar tools for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of SQL and ability to perform data manipulation and query tasks.
- Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with real estate-specific software such as JDE, Yardi, or MRI is highly desirable.
Work Environment:
This role is based in a professional office setting, routinely using standard office equipment. The position is onsite, providing direct interaction with team members and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
