One of the fastest-growing Corporate & Investment Banking groups in the South Florida is seeking to add a Credit Analyst II to join their team based in Miami. The Corporate Credit Analyst II is responsible for performing due diligence, credit execution and ongoing review of Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance, Asset-Based and Project Finance facilities for Large Corporations, Financial Sponsors and Middle Market Companies in North America.
Functions:
- Prepare credit approval memorandums for presentation to applicable approval authority committee. The memos will be for existing loans, new potential loans, Annual Reviews (to be completed on time), waivers, amendments, and others as required.
- Underwrite and analyze loans by evaluating and reviewing loan information, including but not limited to financial projections, risk mitigation, financial statements, financial models, lender presentations/decks, public filings, datarooms, diligence reports, appraisal reports, and other related loan information and supporting documentation.
- Ensure that the loan package complies with credit, underwriting standards and lending/credit policies.
- Establish and expand the Bank's relationship with key sponsors and developers in the named industries - such as private equity funds, utility companies, international and domestic energy / infrastructure firms, construction companies, related manufacturers.
- Pro-actively anticipate questions/topics that credit committee members will likely focus on, sufficiently address those topics and include in the credit documents, and be prepared and ready to address/discuss those points at committee if needed.
- Assist the Corporate Banking Department concerning loan policies and procedures, quality control matters, loan review, and underwriting.
- Assist in monitoring the financial performance of the portfolio, completing waivers and amendments, assisting with quarterly and other reporting.
- Participate in Corporate Banking pipeline meetings.
