Our team is looking to bring on a Sales Manager for the Southeast territory! The Sales Manager's primary responsibility is to achieve and exceed sales growth targets in the assigned territory. The Sales Manager is tasked with identifying and qualifying opportunities, responding to inquiries, developing and delivering proposals, and successfully closing sales in radiation therapy, and industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Based within the territory, the role involves working indoors 50% of the time and traveling for customer presentations the remaining time. The target audience includes potential or existing customers and key influencers such as:
- Construction and product distributors
- Industrial manufacturers or distributors
- Medical equipment manufacturers
- Regional Construction Managers, General Contractors, Subcontractors, and Architects specializing in medical facilities and national corporate medical facilities.
- Architectural and consulting firms
Additional Responsibilities:
- Drives market growth through lead development, identification of new selling opportunities, account prospecting, and solicitation of new material and installation bids.
- Establishes and nurtures account relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Demonstrates a high comfort level with direct sales and cold calls, whether over the phone or in person.
- Compiles potential customer lists to target effectively.
- Represents company products and capabilities in face-to-face interactions with customers.
- Prepares and finalizes sales agreements to secure deals.
- Represents the company at technical meetings, trade shows, and product knowledge presentations.
- Solicits and delivers presentations for company at national corporate medical facilities, distributors, and equipment manufacturers.
- Develops relationships for company with key influencers, including, but not limited to, medical equipment manufacturers, contractors, architectural firms, and consulting physicist groups.
Southeast Sales Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate degree, preferably with a concentration in business, construction, or shielding industry.
- Thorough understanding of basic sales principles and practices, with expertise in both direct and phone sales. Ability to quickly assess and tailor sales calls to meet customer needs.
- Fundamental understanding of architectural processes, production distribution channels, construction aspects, and sales & marketing strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining key accounts, with excellent client retention abilities.
- Familiarity with CAL-OSHA standards (if the territory encompasses CA)
* Adept at reading blueprints and estimates.
- Stellar oral and written communication skills, especially in organizing and crafting sales presentations and proposals.
