Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Expeditor to assist with administrative tasks in our valve procurement and inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of valve-related orders, while providing vital support to our procurement and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Track and expedite valve orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Communication: Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to address any issues or delays related to valve shipments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory levels, ensuring all data is up-to-date in our systems.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on order status, inventory levels, and supplier performance for management review.
- Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and preparing correspondence.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in the procurement and expediting processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a procurement, logistics, or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with inventory management software is a plus.
