Job Summary:
The Salesforce Software Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce-based applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs. This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and Agile methodologies. Essential Duties:
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, contributing to architectural decisions, conducting code reviews, and ensuring the adoption of best practices and standards.
- Mentor junior developers to enhance their technical skills and foster a collaborative and growth-oriented development environment.
Software Development Lifecycle:
- Embrace Agile methodologies, actively participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including sprint planning, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and retrospectives.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver incremental value, ensuring that business requirements are met and projects are delivered on time.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design system architectures, database schemas, and API interfaces that support business objectives.
Problem Solving & Debugging:
- Analyze and debug complex technical issues across the entire software stack, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
- Proactively address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and scalability challenges to ensure the reliability and efficiency of applications.
Architecture & Design:
- Architect robust and scalable Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to industry best practices, ensuring long-term maintainability and performance.
- Collaborate with DevOps Engineers and Production Support teams to enable automated deployment of applications using a CI/CD pipeline across multiple environments, including production.
Ongoing Support & Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed Salesforce applications, troubleshooting issues, implementing updates, and ensuring continuous improvement of the software.
Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree from a college or university and ten years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates & Licenses:
- Advanced experience and/or certification in Salesforce strongly desired.
Compensation:
$130,000-$155,000. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the organization’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The actual pay offered to a specific candidate may vary above or below the stated range.
