About the Role:
Are you a motivated Chemist looking to kickstart your career in the coatings industry? Our client, a dynamic privately owned company in Houston, TX, is seeking a Chemist to join their growing team. You'll be instrumental in developing innovative Epoxy and Polyurethane-based coatings for corrosion control applications.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in formulating high-performance Epoxy and Polyurethane coatings for corrosion control
- Work closely with experienced Chemists to learn new techniques and processes
- Contribute to the development of new product lines and process improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to industry standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in the coatings industry or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
