Our client, a popular gifting brand, is seeking an Account Coordinator to join their team in Jericho, New York! You will be overseeing vendor relationships and performances.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate the fulfillment efficacy, quality, and performance of approximately 300 vendors in an assigned geographical territory on a daily basis.
- Identify vendors that are not performing according to expectations and evaluate best course of action
- Provide recommendations to ensure that every vendor is able to deliver a high quality product and service to the end consumer
- Develop close relationships with the vendors in their assigned territory, and manage communications via phone and email.
- Ensure that any and all questions/issues from a vendor are handled in a timely and highly professional manner.
- Manage current vendor performance and execute the guidelines set.
- Represent vendor needs within the organization to ensure consistent order fulfillment quality.
- Contribute to process improvement opportunities aimed at enhancing the efficacy of the relationship and fulfillment capability.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Must be composed and of professional demeanor.
- Must feel comfortable dealing with and resolving conflict.
- Must be comfortable working in a highly fluid, fast-paced environment.
- Prior customer service experience is a plus.
