Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Associate to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will assist in multiple areas of marketing, including social media management, content creation, event coordination, email campaigns, website edits, and overall support of our marketing executives. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about all levels of marketing, highly organized, and eager to contribute to the success of our events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our marketing lead to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies.
- Stay informed about market trends, consumer preferences, and competitors' activities to help shape marketing strategies.
- Create engaging visual content for digital and print platforms using tools such as Canva and Adobe Suite.
- Assist in the production of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, advertisements, and social media content.
- Help design and execute email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, segmenting lists, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Manage and update the company's website and social media profiles with fresh content and relevant updates.
- Support the organization and coordination of marketing events, including trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Conduct research and analyze data to identify target audiences and evaluate marketing campaigns' effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on marketing activities and performance metrics.
- Provide general support to marketing executives, including administrative tasks and project coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in marketing, event coordination, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), content management systems, and website editing (Wordpress).
- Strong creative and analytical skills with a keen eye for design and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and digital media.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel on occasion to events (at least 25%).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in creating and managing digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, email marketing).
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for learning and implementing new technologies and marketing techniques.
