Lotus United is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller/HR professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company’s financial health through effective management of accounts, financial statements, and tax data, as well as playing a critical role in general HR responsibilities. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial strategies and government compliance, along with a passion for contributing to a dynamic and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Manage day-to-day company accounts and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
- Assist in financial planning and analysis, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee budget forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting to ensure the company’s financial stability.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
- Maintain and monitor tax records, ensuring accurate and timely filing in compliance with government regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities, managing relationships and ensuring clear communication.
Human Resources:
- Perform general HR onboarding tasks, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition for new employees.
- Support HR-related financial processes, including payroll management and employee benefits administration.
- Collaborate with the CEO/Board on HR strategy and employee relations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong background in financial management.
- Proficiency with current financial software and tools, including Quickbooks.
- Experience working in Human Resources (required)
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
