The Opportunity:
Fujitsu General America, Inc. (FGAI) has a Procurement Coordinator opportunity in the rapidly growing HVAC industry. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for generating vendor purchase orders and advance shipping notices (ASNs), as well as providing support for parts availability and estimated time of arrival (ETA).
What You'll Do Every Day:
- Ability to accurately review and process purchase orders in ERP system and supplier sites.
- Manage and prioritize multiple data entry tasks within the ERP system
- Basic knowledge of how advance shipping notice (ASNs) work and their role in supply chain management.
- Ability to create reports using excel and ERP system data.
- Answering high volume of emails regarding item availability and ETA.
- Ability to research parts numbers within our Air Conditioner product catalog when necessary.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Familiarity with procurement and inventory management software preferred.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience, advanced MS Excel.
- ERP Navigation Skills, preferable Oracle ERP.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Attention to Detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to Learn
- Ability to identify issues and propose solutions
- Knowledge of pricing principles
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Associate College Degree preferred.
- 2 Plus years of experience in prior customer service role preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- This is a sedentary job that involves sitting at a desk and computer for most of the time.
- Reliable transportation for commuting to the office.
