A reputable, growing, and financially sound company that specializes in grain handling equipment design and installation is seeking a Field Superintendent in central Illinois. This a new role within the company spurred by continual growth.
The ideal candidate is driven, confident, organized and must have excellent interpersonal skills. You must be able to "see the big picture," be able to prioritize and juggle all aspects of 2-3 projects at a time.
You will be working directly with company leadership, the design team, and the construction crews. Day-to-day tasks will include scheduling equipment and resources, and coordinating between crews, project managers, fabrication and vendors. You will be an essential part of project oversight and will be instrumental in the company getting the job done right the first time, on time.
The company does NOT have a "corporate culture," however they are large enough to have ample resources and exciting growth opportunities. They enjoy a "blue collar" mentality from top to bottom. The position is located in Central Illinois and can have hybrid flexibility.
A BS degree or equivalent work experience is desired, and 2+ years agriculture industry experience is a huge plus. Candidates in similar construction industries may also be a fit. The successful candidate must be able to manage many aspects of the construction simultaneously to produce the best outcome for the customer and company.
