The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth for Water Taxi of Fort Lauderdale. This position involve maintaining and expanding partnerships with reseller, prospecting and pursuing new leads, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the sales team. The Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate records in Salesforce, fostering relations with key stakeholders, and promoting the company through networking events and training sessions.
Overview of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cultivate, grow and sustain our strong relationships with our established reseller partners
- Conduct in-person check-ins and digital communication with our partners.
- Identify and engage new leads, generate new accounts focusing on the hospitality sector
- Reaching out to potential leads throughout a variety of channels, managing the sales cycle, closing and maintaining client accounts
- Meet and exceed sales goals within each market
- Maintain up to date records of all lead interactions in Salesforce
- Conduct group training sessions for new and existing partners focusing on education about Water Taxi to enhance partnership success, act as a voice of our customer within our organization
- Actively participate in local networking events to generate new referral opportunities
- Professionally represent Water Taxi of Fort Lauderdale in the local business community
- Business development and cross selling to identify new opportunities
- Establish ownership of accounts to strengthen our brand presence
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hospitality and event management experience
- Strong relationship building and negotiation abilities
- Must have computer skills, Outlook, Word, Excel
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Collaborative and teamwork capabilities
- Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Willingness to travel locally and attend evening and/or weekend events as needed
- Regular local travel to meet with our reseller partners and attend networking events
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in corporate sales, account management or a similar role
