JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager will act as a trusted business resource in all areas of Human Resources. This role will support our people and culture strategy and lead HR processes within their assigned area.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains compliance with all legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Acts as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, supporting workforce planning, organizational design, change management, employee engagement and talent development.
- Acts as a day-to-day contact for HR processes (e.g. reward planning, performance management), coordinating with HR executive leadership.

- Acts as the frontline HR expert and escalates complex matters as needed to Human Resources leadership.
- Serve as a credible, trusted partner to guide leaders by demonstrating best practice technical, functional, and business expertise in employee relations matters.
- Partners with internal stakeholders understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Monitors employee engagement and works closely with management to improve work relationships and increase employee morale and retention.
- Facilitate the recruitment process to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, and conducting new hire on-boarding process to foster positive attitude toward company core values and culture.
- Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances.
- Administer and maintain records of personnel transactions such as temporary staffing, new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.
- Provides reporting as needed on HR Metrics. Analyzes HR metrics and provides sound recommendations.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives.
- Partners with the Payroll function to ensure bi-weekly reporting, time and attendance and other payroll related functions are completed timely and accurately.
- Preparation of government reports such as unemployment and disability requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS Human Resources or Business-related curriculum preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- California Employee Law knowledge strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems, Paycom preferred.
- SHRM CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Ability to handle challenging employee interactions.
- Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skill with, peers, management, and other business partners.
- Strong computer skills to include strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to travel to other business units occasionally.
