Description: Responsible for various duties and responsibilities supporting the Supply department in the procurement of products for distribution.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders for the procurement of chemical products
- Track and report products in inventory
- Act as liaison between internal directors and external suppliers
- Assist in the management of railcar and truck logistics to obtain products
- Maintain supplier and product information in database
- Prepare and track samples delivered to customers
- Collect purchase planning forecasts from sales
- Compile market data and alternative values
- Report on various supplier data
Qualifications:
- 0-4 years professional experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution in business or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, advanced knowledge of Excel desired
- Familiarity with Salesforce a plus
- Comfortable with handling and analyzing large volumes of data
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize and multitask
