We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Coordinator to join our client, a distinguished non-profit organization based in Washington, DC. This temporary role spans 90+ days and features a hybrid work arrangement—3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week. The ideal candidate will bring a solid administrative background, superior communication skills, and a strong commitment to advancing non-profit causes.
Administrative Coordination:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for various events and activities.
- Draft and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and project reports.
- Handle incoming correspondence, including emails and phone calls, on behalf of the project team.
- Project Support:
- Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure on-time completion.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to facilitate project execution and address any issues.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Data and Documentation Management:
- Update and manage project databases, tracking systems, and filing systems to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Document project activities and outcomes to support reporting and evaluation.
- Event and Workshop Coordination:
- Aid in organizing and planning events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
- Oversee event logistics, such as venue selection, catering arrangements, and participant coordination.
- General Administrative Duties:
- Provide general administrative support, including managing office supplies and assisting with budget management.
- Support team members with various tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative or project coordination roles, preferably within a non-profit or similar setting.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Education:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
