Role Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Senior Financial Analyst to drive our financial strategy and support our rapid growth. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and can translate complex financial data into actionable insights. As the "brains" of our company, you'll be part of the executive staff, recommending direction and analyzing costs, landed costs, COGS, and competitive pricing strategies across e-commerce marketplaces.
Location: Forest Lake, MN (100% on-site with some flexibility)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for profitability projections and COGS assessments across our 6000+ product lines
- Conduct in-depth analysis of costing and profitability data to optimize margins and suggest strategic directions
- Create and implement financial processes and structures to support our scaling operations
- Analyze and report on key financial metrics, providing regular updates to senior management
- Lead projects related to COGS, landing costs, and other variable costs affected by seasonal and supply chain factors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and support business strategies
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Analyze complex problems and provide strategic solutions with a solid understanding of marketplace rules, especially Amazon
- Optimize and lead teams, serving as a centerpiece of the company's operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (CMA, CPA) is a plus
- 5-7+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on e-commerce or marketplace analysis
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel, Power BI, NetSuite ERP, Snowflake, and SQL
- Strong understanding of international finance, including experience with tariffs, duty drawbacks, and TIFs
- Proven track record in costing analysis, profitability optimization, and financial modeling
- Experience in scaling financial operations in a high-growth environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- Strong communication skills and ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with various e-commerce platforms and understanding of their specific rules and regulations
- Knowledge of international trade practices, particularly in Canada, EU, UK, and sourcing from China, India, and Pakistan
