Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Description:
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the following tasks:
Receiving and confirming customer orders
Order entry into the system
Assisting the sales department with quotes and customer communication
Communicating with plant departments, management, and other office personnel
Administrative duties such as answering phones and greeting visitors
Preferred but not required: Experience in customer service within the chemical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and follow up on customer service tasks
Maintain professional and effective phone communication, remaining composed in stressful situations
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Ensure accuracy in data entry and report generation
Maintain a positive, constructive, and cooperative attitude in the workplace
Keep detailed records of customer interactions, including quotes, inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken
Solve problems and communicate solutions to customers
Utilize computer skills, including Outlook, Datacor, Excel, and Word
Multi-task efficiently while analyzing information and responding appropriately
Be a self-motivated learner with a positive attitude
Act as a flexible, engaged team player
Qualifications:
Demonstrated organizational, customer service, and follow-up skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in basic computer applications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
SAP / ERP experience a plus
Compensation:
Salary based on experience
Full-time position (M-F)
