⚡Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain automation and control systems.
- Provide on-site technical support.
- Manage internal and third-party teams.
⚡Key Duties:
Control System Development:
- Lead projects as the subject matter expert.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop specifications.
- Translate specifications into hardware, software, and services.
- Develop automation and control standards.
⚡Control System Delivery:
- Work with suppliers to deliver necessary systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and customers.
⚡Control System Integration:
- Oversee integration of industrial control systems into IT infrastructure.
⚡Control System Validation:
- Integrate, commission, and start up control systems.
- Support validation activities.
⚡Control System Troubleshooting and Support:
- Lead or assist in troubleshooting and optimizing control systems.
⚡Requirements:
- Extensive experience in controls engineering and design (SCADA, PLC, HMI systems), preferably Siemens PLC.
- Experience in designing control systems and PLC code.
- Knowledge of SCADA, HMI, and various communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
- Understanding of process instrumentation.
- Experience with controls and equipment integration, commissioning, and startup.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (NFPA/NEC, UL, OSHA).
- Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage vendors and suppliers effectively.
⚡Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation/Controls, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with industrial automation and control systems.
