We seek a Cloud Manager who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment. Candidate must have active TS/SCI.
As a contributor to efforts of the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab in the Wargaming Division, you will be asked to support and provide Scientific and Technical Deliverables by performing Research, Development, Tests, and Evaluation to identify future challenges and opportunities, develop warfighting concepts and comprehensively explore options to inform capability development through the combat development process and meet the challenges of future operating environments. The Cloud Manager analyzes and defines Information Assurance security requirements for Multiple Security Levels (MSL) and non-MSL systems. You will be asked to design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions to MSL and non-MSL requirements and gather and organize technical information about the organization's missions, goals, requirements, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the Information Assurance arena. These efforts will enhance the ability of the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab Wargaming Division to plan, support, integrate, execute, and report live force experiments underwriting USMC Force Design.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, management, performance, and reliability of cloud computing environments and systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders, technical staff, and cybersecurity to plan cloud computing requirements, strategies, implementation plans, and overall management of cloud resources.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues that impact cloud services, including network connectivity and security.
- Collaborate with developers and other teams to design and deploy cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
- Implement and enforce cyber security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Monitor, report on, and optimize cloud costs and resources by identifying and addressing inefficiencies.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to cloud services.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams as needed.
- Manage the day-to-day cloud services.
Required Qualifications:
Security Clearance:
- US Citizenship required
- Secret at start with the ability to attain and maintain TS/SCI
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in IT
- 5-12 years of experience in a Cloud services environment (DoD Cybersecurity Workforce code 451)
- Requires DoD Cyber certification as an IAT level II (Any of the following: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA,CISSP (or Associate), GCED,GCIH, CCSP )
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Master’s degree in IT
- Experience and Microsoft Azure certifications (or other cloud service providers)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
