JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Scheduler is responsible for the full development project schedules, project resource planning, and reporting both internal and to the customer. This including compliance with all aspects of the project timeline, budget, and specifications while also addressing our clients’ needs and requests. The Corporate Scheduler will work with a cross-functional team of project managers, department heads, and team leads to ensure successful, profitable and on time projects for customers. The Corporate Scheduler must have the ability to work with little supervision. This includes managing the timeline, scope, and updates for all projects. Corporate Schedulers must execute all work in accordance with the company’s project management guidelines. The Corporate Scheduler will work in the Project Management department and report to the Vice President of Project Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, primary corporate summary schedules, and other reports needed by the project and leadership teams.
- Work directly with the project management teams to monitor and update the schedules on a regular basis.
- Assist in planning and resource allocation efforts of the project teams and the company.
- Assist the sales and estimating team for resource planning and pricing.
- Work with the Aegis PM teams and subcontractors on project schedule development and updates
- Establish Aegis schedule templates and work instructions.
- Run and coordinate regular project status meetings both internally and with the customer.
- Assist in negotiation of change orders and contract regarding schedules.
- Develop and implement the best tools and practices for project scheduling using the latest industry technologies.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the project team.
- Develop and maintain a cooperative relationship with the client to promote common interests, foster mutual respect and further client confidence and trust in the company.
- Conduct meetings with Customer as needed/required including meeting minutes.
- Ensure Customer deliverables such as schedule updates are provided as required.
- Travel to the project site from time to time as needed.
- Identify critical issues in schedules and assist in the development of improvement procedures.
- Provide project status reports.
- Work with Aegis project managers and field teams for weekly progress updates.
- Resolve open issues with the project team.
- Resolve open issues with the customer including monitoring customer feedback and work to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Ability to travel and work on project sites throughout the US.
- Self-Starter with proven organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Oral and Written Communication.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to develop detailed schedules in Microsoft Project and other scheduling software.
- Ability to develop detailed schedules that incorporate progress tracking, resource loading, critical path analysis, and other critical functions.
- Ability to develop multiple overall summaries including but not limited to a corporate summary schedule to be reviewed the Aegis Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
- Ability to develop solutions to scheduling and other project issues.
- Ability to analyze progress and determine issues in the schedule in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
- 3+ years’ experience in Project Scheduling and Planning (preferred).
- Experience managing a department or focused work team.
- Experience with high level scheduling.
- Experience working with customers in planning and troubleshooting issues.
- Experience in coordinating department activities with other departments.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Time spent on active job sites include subject to noise, being in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical power and control systems, and high places.
- Personal Protective Equipment required at active job sites.

- Travel required as needed.
