Electrical Engineer – Power Generation Focus
For our client, LevelUP is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in power generation, with a focus on multi-discipline projects across hydroelectric, gas, and fossil fuel power generation facilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Expertise in low and medium voltage power distribution.
- Proficient in motor controls for low and medium voltage.
- Experience interfacing industrial processes with DCS and/or PLC systems.
- Skilled in using power distribution system modeling software such as ETAP or similar.
- Familiarity with panel design and working in a 3D environment.
Desired Skills:
- Relay protection experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate engineering and design efforts within a team.
- Comfortable leading and conducting meetings with peers and clients.
- Experience working with project managers and clients to develop proposal documents and estimates for project bids.
- Primarily focused on modifications and upgrades in existing facilities.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel for site visits (1-2 days).
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge in Electrical Engineering.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (required).
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
