Job Title: Workday HCM Consultant
Location: Marietta, GA

Job Responsibilities
Project Execution
o Manage new project/enhancement requests from initiation through post implementation support including configuration
o Collect and translate business process requirements into a functional solution design
o Partner with the integration team to ensure proper integration with functional configuration.
o Configure Workday to meet the functional needs
o Prepare project deliverables including (but not limited to) project plans, process flows, functional requirements, and UAT test plans and test scripts
o Lead cross functional HR Technology projects through design and implementation
Ongoing Support
o Preserve overall system health; regularly engage with HR Operations and the business to understand operational challenges and aid in root cause problem resolution
o Monitor health of module and drive continuous process improvements leveraging a clear understanding of local requirements (i.e. regulatory changes) and how they would impact the system
o Monitor Workday community for reported bugs, fixes, and new enhancements relative to assigned modules
Job Requirements
o Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
o 5+ years implementation and support experience with Workday and/or other related HR systems
o Be an expert in implementing and configuring Workday Core HCM and at least 2-3 of the following Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Performance Management, Talent Management, and Business Processes on a global scale.
o Well-developed leadership and project management capabilities with demonstrated success completing multiple cross-functional, cross-business, and cross-cultural projects.
o Proven ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects to meet established deadlines; must be able to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
o Excellent analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of problem solving, root cause analysis, and associated solution implementation.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to work and/or lead effectively on virtual teams training sessions.
o Ability to breakdown high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and ability to distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
o Ability to drive and challenge the business on their requirements
o Track record of being the go-to person for designing functional and technical system solutions to solve business problems
o Proven ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity and to manage conflict
o Self-starter with proven ability to anticipate problems and take proactive, decisive action, giving regard to the impact on the system, business needs and user population
o Solid understanding of software lifecycle development (SDLC) methodologies
o Familiar with data privacy and other regulatory requirements
