About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team in optimizing our client's manufacturing processes. This pivotal role will focus on driving process improvements, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring that manufacturing operations align with stringent safety and quality standards. Projects You'll Work On
- Spearheading continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste and increasing productivity across the manufacturing floor.
- Collaborating with R&D and production teams to design and implement new manufacturing processes for innovative product lines.
- Leading cross-functional teams to ensure production targets are met while maintaining top-tier safety and quality compliance.
- Driving efforts to adopt Lean manufacturing principles and integrate Six Sigma methodologies into daily operations to further enhance production efficiency.
What Experience You Should Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, with the ability to manage, inspire, and develop an engineering team.
- Extensive knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments to drive results.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering, offering advanced knowledge of complex manufacturing systems.
- Six Sigma certification, ideally Black Belt or equivalent, to lead data-driven improvements.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing principles and process optimization in a mid-to-large-scale production environment.
