We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team! As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for ensuring that all legal matters are handled in a professional and efficient manner. Our office concentrates on commercial litigation matters.
The Associate Attorney will also be responsible for:
- Managing full case load from inception to post-trial
- Attend hearings, depositions, mediation, and trials
- Preparing pleadings, discovery demands, discovery responses, motion, and other litigation documents
- Conducting legal research
- Assisting in the review of legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Communicating with senior associates to ensure cases are handled efficiently
- Ensuring confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize workload based on deadlines
- Ability to meet billing requirements
Associate Attorney Requirements and Qualification:
- Accredited Law degree
- Must be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing
- 0-3 year experience
- Strong legal knowledge
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
- Strong client service orientation
- Ability to prioritize work
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Exceptional decision-making abilities
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
